The cotton is tied tightly to resist the dye in places (the \u003cem\u003eadire oniko\u003c\/em\u003e technique), then dyed and hand-beaten to set the colour. The indigo comes from plant sources: dried, crushed leaves are fermented with an alkaline solution, and the cloth is dipped repeatedly to deepen the shade.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA genuine one-off — lovely as a throw, table textile or wall hanging.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSize: approx. 140 × 115cm. Care: gentle hand wash only in cool water with a mild detergent — never machine wash, on any setting.
